Cancellations and Return Policies

CANCELLATIONS: You may cancel your order at no cost to you, provided production has not begun or the item has not been shipped. To get this information call Carport Co. at 1-800-379-2162.

RETURNS: You must have a return authorization from Carport Co. for any returns. Custom orders are not returnable. The following policies pertain to all return items:
*  Shipping charges, both ways, will not be                     refunded.
*  Only un-opened items are considered returnable.
*  All items must be returned in their original un-
  opened packaging.
*  Items that have missing parts are not returnable.
*  All items will have a re-stocking fee of 15% .

CUSTOM ORDERS: Custom orders are not returnable. A custom order is considered as any item that is not on our web site Price List. Including but not limited to, special colors and custom cutting.

REFUSAL OF SHIPPED ITEMS:  If you refuse your order, you will be charged for all shipping, handling and storage charges plus a 20% re-stocking fee for the un-authorized return. If the item is damaged or is an item that is considered custom no credit will be given under any circumstance.

Shipping :

Orders are shipped via common carrier.

Upon delivery please count the number of boxes to make sure you have received the same number of boxes as the delivery receipt shows. If it does not, go ahead an accept the delivery but be sure to note the shortage on the delivery receipt before signing.

In  the rare case of damage: Accept the shipment regardless of its condition. Do not refuse any shipment. If there are any signs of damage, note this on the carriers delivery receipt before signing. At that time open the box and inspect for damage. If there is damage, ask the carrier to request a Damage Freight Inspection Report.
